Stephen SingletearyA member of professional organizations such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council and the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance, Stephen Singleteary is an executive and entrepreneur in the prepared food industry. Stephen Singleteary also served six years as president of Diversity Food Processing (DFP), a company that supplied hamburger to the Burger King chain. DFP was recognized by Black Enterprise as one of the largest African-American-owned businesses in the United States.
Before launching DFP, Mr. Singleteary owned and operated 16 Burger King restaurants in four states and served as a founding board member of the product purchasing company Restaurant Services, Inc. His entrepreneurial success in the food sector has been lauded by publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Weekend, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
In addition to his work in the food industry, Mr. Singleteary served nine years as a financial and legal advisor to professional athletes and recording artists. He also worked nine years as an accountant with Continental Bank. Stephen Singleteary holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kentucky Wesleyan College and a JD from the DePaul University College of Law.
